Account Associate – Sales Focus with Service Support
Agent Shawn Velez – State Farm Insurance
Are you a competitive, sales-driven professional who also values delivering excellent customer service? The Velez Agency is seeking an Account Associate who can drive new business growth while supporting clients with their ongoing insurance needs.
This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you are not yet licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses with our full support.
What You’ll Do

Drive Growth – Proactively market and sell insurance products, generate leads, and build lasting client relationships.

Support Clients – Manage customer accounts, process policy changes, and resolve inquiries with professionalism.

Claims & Service – Assist customers through the claims process and provide timely follow-up on status updates.

Ensure Accuracy – Coordinate with underwriters and maintain up-to-date customer records in the agency database.
What We’re Looking For
- A sales-dominant mindset with the ability to engage in consultative sales conversations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to balancing sales with service tasks.
- Previous insurance or sales experience preferred.

Licensed in P&C and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support).

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
